Sales Management Game

 

 

In our sales management simulation game, each student becomes the
sales manager for a new security software division. Over eight quarters,
they will build and manage their new salesforce.

  • Design a territory structure to maximize selling opportunities
  • Assign staff to each territory and define the optimal territory size  

 

  • Build an optimal selling strategy (transactional versus relational)
  • Design a sales control system through compensation structure and performance measurement schema decisions
  • Review and purchase sales enablement programs to enhance selling efficiency, increase sales leads, and improve close rates
  • Develop quarterly sales budgets, prioritizing critical expenditures
  • Prioritize personal management time on critical activities


  • Select from three game difficulty levels and three different product competitiveness scenarios.
  • Define how each student's performance as a sales manager will be evaluated. Students will earn game points each period based on their performance against these metrics.   
  • Monitor class and individual student progress and performance
  • Enable auto-coaching to have your students' performance issues automatically diagnosed. 
  • Communicate to individual students or the entire class by leaving messages in their game mailbox. 
  • Support post-game student assignments by enabling assignment mode which gives students full access to all game reports and market research data regardless of which reports they may have purchased during the game.
